This is a 1960s vintage Barcelona chair in distressed black leather with a polished stainless frame by Mies van der Rohe and produced by Knoll. This example came directly from Gratz Industries and was in their private collection. Gratz Industries produced the Barcelona chair frames for Knoll for many years. This example is in beautifully patinated condition with significant but usable wear. The cushions are somewhat firm, but the chair could still be used as/is if you were aiming to preserve it. The foam is firm in some places.
The chair measures 29.5 inches wide by 30 inches deep and 30.25 inches tall. The seat height is 17 inches.
